Yoga at Gravity Lab
The Gravity Lab Yoga Studio offers several yoga classes throughout the week. All of our yoga classes are free for members and pass holders or $10 for walk ins. We offer a number of specialty yoga classes throughout the week. All levels and abilities welcome.
Vinyasa Yoga - Vinyasa yoga is characterized by movement, linking breath and motion into a continuous sequence.
Hatha Yoga - Meaning Sun/Moon, hatha aims to strengthen and relax balancing and harmonizing masculine and feminine energy. It is the slower, more traditional form of yoga often holding poses for a bit longer.
Climbers Power Flow - Vinyasa flow integrating inversions and arm balances. This class emphasizes building core strength and opening the shoulders and back.
Yin Yoga - Slow and meditative. Yin practice involves holding poses for longer periods of time and using gravity to aid in opening more passively.
Movement and Mobility - A vital practice meant to expand your range of motion and improve the health of your joints to keep you moving freely and without limitations.

Lauren Hart
Lauren started practicing yoga as part of her training regime as a varsity athlete in college. This practice eventually evolved from something purely physical into something that supported her mental, emotional and spiritual health in monumental ways. After various trainings in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles, Lauren has been sharing her love and knowledge of yoga with her community for the past 5 years. Her classes are centered on slow breath-based movement. Each class is unique and consists of functional and safe sequencing with the intention of enhancing strength and flexibility in both body and mind. All of her classes welcome all levels of practitioners, and many variations and modifications are offered to either spice up or mellow out the practice. Join Lauren’s classes for feel-good flows, as well as calming breath work and meditations.

Kat
Kathryn (Kat) is a Chicago native and brand new to Colorado. She was trained at Hot Yoga Naperville 5 years ago and has been steadily teaching since. Her favorite styles to teach are 26&2, Vinyasa/Mix, Yin, and Restorative, and the more heat the better. The balance of movement and stillness and being able to sit with uncomfortable feelings is something she credits to yoga and tries to incorporate in her classes. In Chicago, she was also a Music Director at a School of Rock and still teaches private vocal and piano lessons. She came to CO because of how calm and healing the Earth feels out here, and the underlying silence that you can't get within the buzz of a city. Yoga is a very healing constant, both physically and mentally for her, and she mindfully aims to create an environment in each class where people can come and take what they need for that day and re-ground. Each day is different, and each class is a new chance to heal and reset.

Darlene Holland
As a “teacher”, I try to facilitate a space where people feel comfortable and safe (proper alignment cues). It is my goal to aid them in listening to their bodies, healing & hopefully feel better when they leave the room. At Gravity Lab I hope to focus on care for the hands, forearms, shoulders, hips, feet and everything else! People often “vibrate” at different energy levels and having the allowance of simple choices, modifications and experiencing less or more is important. This 2023 year, my focus is to be observant and go from there. Sometimes, there will be a backdrop of music and other times, I will invite time to drop into the sounds of our own breath and movement.

Chloe Dee Dudley
In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I have been a student of yoga for over 20 years. My yoga practice deepened after an ACL tear while playing D1 lacrosse. My first trainings were with Baron Baptiste and YogaWorks in Paris, France which was mainly Ashtanga and Iyengar. Since then, I have studied with a variety of teachers and consider myself forever a student of yoga. It’s my Dharma.
My students step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced!”

Madi Carter
Madi moved to Durango in 2015 and has been living in Aztec for the last two years. After finding solace in yoga during a stressful corporate career, she deepened her practice and eventually decided to switch places in the yoga hall. In 2024, she received her 200 hour teacher training in India. Her favorite teaching styles include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Pranayama. In her classes, students can slow their minds through intentional breathing and focused movement. She offers an exploratory experience through a variety of movement, breathwork, and meditation. Madi’s goal is to help people uncover the tools within to overcome life’s greatest challenges.

Camille Fridal
Camille completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her training focused largely on hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, anatomy and physiology. Her goal as a yoga instructor is to create classes that are anatomically informed, creative, and fun. Camille believes that yoga should be for every-body, as people are structured so differently, anatomy is important to consider so that she can create classes that are as inclusive as possible. She also incorporates aspects of yoga philosophy into her classes, as yoga is more than just a physical exercise.

Savannah Mellon
Savannah was born and raised in Alabama, but has since traveled and lived all over the world. Cultivating hobbies is hard to do when living out of a bag and packing lightly, but luckily all you need for yoga is your body and breath! Practicing yoga gave her a sense of home in her own body, no matter where she was. In 2023, Savannah decided to lay down roots in Colorado. Shortly after moving to Durango, she studied under local guru Sarah Klein to earn her 300 hours of yoga teacher training.
Savannah hopes to empower others to find yoga in their everyday life; you don't need a gym or even a mat to practice!
